Body 7 am Kick-Off Run Yola DC on Connecticut Ave in Dupont Circle (1323 Connecticut Ave, NW) Whether you want to get in a long (6 mile) run at a quicker pace (8-9 min/mile) are more of a middle of the pack runner (5 miles at a 10-11 min/mile pace) or if you're just getting started (3 miles at a 12 - 13 min/mile pace), join DC Fit Week runners on Monday morning for our kick off run. We'll be heading out from Yola in  Dupont and have 3 running groups so there will be a group to fit a variety of pace and distance needs. We'll meet at 6:45 a.m., start the run at 7 am, and meet back afterwards for coffee and breakfast.   Register Here
             
Body 6:15am-7:15am Kickboxing Tenley Sport & Health You'll learn stances, punches, and defensive skills as well as combinations of all three. The focus is on upper and lower body muscle conditioning. Body 7pm-8pm Boot Camp Balance Gym Kalorama The boot camp class offered at Balance focuses on high heart rate training and is designed to improve stamina, endurance and body composition. Because life doesn't happen in a vacuum, we emphasize movement in space to prepare your body for the challenges it will face on a day-to-day basis. Functional and athletic exercises are the norm, so be prepared to be challenged and surprised by how fast your body improves. Body 7:30pm-8:30pm Belly Dancing Northwest Sport & Health Learn this beautiful, ancient art form, which combines grace, flexibility and strength. Students will learn a movement vocabulary while building coordination and endurance. Basic technique, including proper alignment and posture, basic hip and upper body movements, accents, shimmies, isolations, and traveling steps will be explored.
